Aplikasi Inventaris Ruang dan Pengadaan Barang pada Fakultas Sains danTeknologi UIN Raden Fatah Palembang Menggunakan Metode Waterfall

Abstract

Management of space inventory and procurement of goods in the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Raden Fatah Palembang is still done manually, so it has the potential to cause problems such as data duplication, loss of information, and delays in the reporting process. To overcome these problems, a web-based application was built that can help the process of recording, managing, and reporting inventory digitally. This study uses the Waterfall software development method, which consists of several stages, namely needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation studies to determine the system needs in detail. The results of this study are an inventory information system application consisting of several main features, such as goods data management, space data, procurement processes, and report generation. With this application, the process of managing inventory and procurement of goods becomes more structured, efficient, and accurate. This application also supports the decision-making process by the faculty by providing report data that can be accessed quickly and in real-time.
